HALITOSIS: The bad breath.



Halitosis is an unpleasant odor of the mouth. It is an embarrassing condition experience by millions of people throughout the world. At first people does not know about it but when anybody come into close contact with the sufferer, it is diagnosed.

EXPERIENCE OF BAD BREATH.

The causes of halitosis are very simple and the solutions are as well as also But as we are not aware of it we often fall into such embarrassing situation
Some causes of halitosis are as follow:-


STRONG SMELLING FOOD LIKE GARLIC.
1.Food is the primary source of this disease. Eating strong smelling food such as garlic, onion fish, meat, spicy food ,huge amount of diary product etc are some root cause.
2. Poor oral hygiene is another cause. When people eat strong smelling food it may leave a smell for some time. If people do not brush teeth immediately after taking this type of food then the food may stuck in the teeth and not only that it also can grow bacteria which ultimately causes halitosis .It is a  wrong idea that one should brush teeth only. Everybody should brush the tongue also .

CIGARETTE IS THE ROOT CAUSE.




YOU MUST QUIT CHEWING TOBACCO.

3. Smoking cigarette and chewing tobacco can leave chemical that remain in the mouth and help bad breath.

4.  Some health problem may cause halitosis. If people does not brush teeth properly plaque may build up which causes different types of gum disease and of them gingivitis is the most common. Xerostomia is another disease in which mouth become dry and bacteria can easily grow in this condition. Besides sinus infection, pneumonia, sore throat, acid reflux, lactose intolerance, some liver and kidney disease, white coat of the tongue may associated with bad breath.
The treatment is depend upon the cause of the disease.
1.    Brush and floss your teeth regularly and properly. An inter dental brass may be used to clean your teeth perfectly. Do not forget to brush your tongue at the same time.

2.    Quit smoking and chewing tobacco immediately and it has no alternate.
3.    Keep the mouth moist by drinking pure water every day. If necessary artificial saliva may be prescribed.

AVOID MEDICATED MOUTH WASH.



USE NATURAL MOUTHWASH LIKE MINT MOUTH WASH
4.    Chewing mint and parsley may give you a good result. You may gargle with mouth wash. If the mouth wash is a medicated one then the result may be temporary. While mint mouth wash or simply warm saline water can give a good result.
5.    If you are suffering from the above mentioned disease then at first try to get rid of the disease.
If you have a bad breath nothing to worry. Only a little conscious can help you to overcome with the problem.
